Water heating stoves

Heating water by burning wood in slow combustion or pellet stoves.

Domestic boilers are a relatively unexplored way of warming water in South Africa. These systems have become far more efficient and popular due to the advent of Heat exchanging, accumulating or solar tanks (basically different ways of saying the same thing). We prefer to call this tank a Heat accumulating tank because that’s what it does. The best way to use these systems is to incorporate all your water heating systems into one tank through inlets and outlets from and to the different systems all regulated by temperature sensors and flow controlling pumps.

The reasons these systems are so popular:

  1. Savings on the electricity costs.
  2. Central heating becomes more cost effective and efficient.
  3. It is far more environmentally friendly.
